A support cluster for Hurricane Katrina survivors is being tendered to help residents cope with the "new normal" in Jackson shire

State-funded reintegration counselors have partnered with plot Recovery to organize several meetings, called Jackson shire Connections, for anyone wanting to share strategies for dealing with life after Katrina.

Michelle Wilson, Dee Mitchell and Charlotte Brown at the WIN work at jobs Center in Pascagoula are three of 25 counselors in place in the state.

permanent funded through a Department of Labor grant, subordinate to the direction of the Mississippi Department of occupation Security, the counselors provide intensive career and life counseling to individuals displaced or affected by way of the hurricane.
