Susie jumps in Jackson, founder of the breakfast, said she and others have been unable to locate the veterans within normal channels. Many of the invitations usually sent public have been returned.

"So many have mov away," borders said. "There are dozens concerning dozens that their phone services have been disconnected."

springs said veterans do not have to receive invitations to attend the sixth annual breakfast, and do not have to confirm their attendance with the train office at Gautier High. They also are welcome to bring family and friends.

"We want to make firm the veterans know about the breakfast," she said.
