Biloxi Main Street's Movie Night go [i]or[/i] come backed to the Biloxi Town blooming last weekend, for a revved-up night of released family fun.
This was the first time Movie Night, a five-year tradition, was able to recur to the Town Green since Hurricane Katrina took away the space's lawn and knocked revealed electricity to the park almost 11 month ago.
The downtown park bordering U 90 has now been restored, and the lush fresh grass provided a soft base for the blankets and bare feet of moviegoers. Families played Frisbee and ate picnic dinners forward the lawn before sunset.
Siblings Connor and Savannah Raudman took forward friend Caleb Yapit in a cardboard-cutout car race, supervised at the Biloxi Park and Recreation Department. The car-themed activity was a tribute to the evening's feature film, "Herbie: completely Loaded."
